Jack Antonoff might be the most important person in pop music right now - he's produced landmark albums for Taylor Swift, Lorde, Lana Del Rey, and St. Vincent - but Bleachers is where he gets to be the rockstar himself. And honestly? He's really, really good at it. Like, surprisingly good. The kind of good where you walk out of a show thinking "why doesn't everyone know about this?"

Bleachers started in 2014 as Antonoff's solo project (separate from his work with fun.) and immediately carved out this lane of synth-pop meets indie rock meets '80s nostalgia that sounds like a John Hughes movie if it had a way better soundtrack. "I Wanna Get Better" is one of those songs that builds and builds until the whole room is jumping and screaming the chorus like their lives depend on it. "Don't Take the Money" does the same thing. "How Dare You Want More" does it again. Every album has at least three of these moments that just detonate live.

Speaking of live - Bleachers shows are absolute chaos in the best possible way. Antonoff treats every concert like it might be his last - running into the crowd, climbing on speakers, playing saxophone solos (yes, actual saxophone solos, and they're great), and generally bringing an intensity that makes you forget he also spent the week producing the biggest pop album of the year in a studio somewhere. The band is tight, the energy is massive, and the fans sing every word at a volume that legitimately rivals the PA system. The production has grown with each album cycle, and the latest tours have featured festival-caliber staging that makes even a mid-size venue feel like a headlining set at a major music festival.

If you're into big feelings, bigger choruses, and a frontman who looks like he might spontaneously combust from sheer enthusiasm, Bleachers is your band. Check available shows on Evil Tickets. Your inner teenager will thank you immediately.
