The Big Red Machine era - Pete Rose, Johnny Bench, Joe Morgan - is still talked about like it happened last week.

Before the game, The Banks district right outside the stadium is loaded with options. Moerlein Lager House is the go-to for pregame beers. For food, Skyline Chili is a Cincinnati institution - just know that "chili" here means something different than what you're expecting. It's on spaghetti. With cheese. Trust the process.

The Reds have one of the more underrated game-day experiences in baseball - the crowd is knowledgeable, the park is beautiful, and you're watching baseball where professional baseball literally started.
