Delta Center in downtown Salt Lake City (yeah, they changed it back from Vivint) is one of the most underrated home-court advantages in the NBA. The arena is loud, the fans are knowledgeable, and the altitude - 4,200 feet above sea level - gives visiting teams an extra challenge they don't get anywhere else in the league.
The Jazz have the Stockton-to-Malone legacy, and that era of basketball is still talked about as two of the greatest players to never win a title. The fanbase carries that legacy with both pride and a healthy chip on its shoulder. When the Jazz are rolling, the Delta Center gets loud in a way that catches people off guard.
Check out Park City if you got time - it's 45 minutes from downtown SLC and one of the best mountain towns in the country. Skiing, great food, and a vibe that's uniquely Utah-but-not-what-you-expect-from-Utah. Find Jazz tickets on Evil Tickets and make a full trip out of it.
