Odesza
Odesza has been one of the top electronic duos for some years now, blending melodic sounds with some serious bass thumping drops. These guys are some of our personal favorites.

ODESZA makes electronic music for people who want to feel something real, and that's not a dig at other electronic acts - it's just that Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight from Seattle have figured out how to blend ambient textures, live drums, horn sections, and soaring vocals into productions that genuinely move people emotionally. Like, actually move them. At an electronic music show. Where most people just want to dance. It's kind of remarkable when you think about it.
Since 2012, they've gone from bedroom producers in Seattle to selling out amphitheaters and headlining major festivals around the world, and the trajectory makes total sense when you see them live. An ODESZA show is less "DJ set" and more "cinematic experience with a live drumline and a sound system that changes your life." Their A Moment Apart tour featured massive visuals, a full drum corps, and a sound design that hit you physically in your chest. "The Last Goodbye" tour took it even further - it's the kind of production that makes you understand why people fly across the country to see specific shows.
"Say My Name," "Sun Models," "Loyal," "Behind the Sun" - the catalog is deep and every song is crafted to build toward these emotional crescendos that just wash over you and leave you breathless. When the drums kick in during "Bloom" and the whole crowd is moving together under the lights, that's one of those live music moments you carry with you for the rest of your life. No exaggeration. Their meticulous attention to sound design, visual storytelling, and emotional pacing puts them in a category that's genuinely their own within electronic music. Nobody else is doing what they do.
If you've ever wanted an electronic music experience that's actually beautiful - not just loud, but genuinely, achingly beautiful - ODESZA is it. Check upcoming shows on Evil Tickets and let yourself feel something extraordinary.
