Angel Stadium - or The Big A, if you're cool - has been holding it down in Anaheim since 1966. Is it technically LA? Is it Anaheim? Honestly, nobody's really sure, and neither is the team's name. But what IS sure is that this ballpark has some of the best weather for outdoor baseball you'll find anywhere. Seventy-five and sunny is basically the default setting here.
The fans at Angel Stadium bring solid energy, especially when big rivals roll in from the AL West. A Mariners or Astros series can get heated quick, and the Rally Monkey on the Jumbotron still goes absolutely crazy during close games. If you haven't seen 40,000 people lose it when a stuffed monkey appears on screen, you haven't lived.
Food-wise, the Helmet Nachos are the signature move - full-size nacho platter served in a souvenir batting helmet. Load it up and find your seat. The fish tacos are surprisingly legit too, because hey, you're like 20 minutes from the ocean. Might as well eat like it.
Before the game, Noble Ale Works is right around the corner and brews some serious beers. After the game, head down to the Anaheim Packing District for dinner and drinks in a renovated citrus packing house. If you're feeling ambitious, Downtown Disney is literally next door. You came for baseball, but you might leave with Mickey Mouse ears. No judgment.
