Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas (EDC) returns to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in mid-May 2026 for its annual three-night celebration of electronic dance music beneath the desert stars. EDC is the largest electronic music festival in the world - over 170,000 fans per night fill the Speedway's massive grounds for a dusk-to-dawn experience that has no equivalent in live entertainment.

What Makes EDC Special

EDC is an overnight festival - sets begin at dusk and run until sunrise, creating an atmosphere that feels completely removed from everyday reality. The Las Vegas Motor Speedway provides a vast, flat canvas that Insomniac Events transforms with nine stages, hundreds of art installations, carnival rides, performer art cars, and the immersive "Under the Electric Sky" experience that has become EDC's signature.

The production scale is staggering. The kineticFIELD main stage is one of the largest temporary stage structures in the world, featuring animatronic elements, massive LED displays, and pyrotechnic systems that rival any permanent venue on earth. Each of EDC's nine stages has its own distinct design, sound system, and programming identity - from the bass-heavy bassrush stage to the trance-focused quantumVALLEY.

The lineup spans every subgenre of electronic music: house, techno, trance, dubstep, drum and bass, hardstyle, and beyond. Past headliners and featured performers have included Tiesto, Kaskade, Alesso, Illenium, Excision, Zedd, and Martin Garrix. The three-night format means over 200 artists perform across the weekend.
