Oracle Park (if you've been around, you might still call it AT&T or Pac Bell) is perched right on the edge of McCovey Cove, and the views are absurd. The Bay Bridge, the water, the kayakers floating in the cove hoping to snag a splash hit - there's no other stadium experience like this in baseball. It's uniquely San Francisco in every way.
Giants fans are deeply loyal and very proud of their three World Series rings from 2010, 2012, and 2014. That dynasty-era run turned the entire Bay Area orange and black. The fans who packed Oracle Park during those runs created an atmosphere that visiting teams genuinely dreaded. Even now, a big game brings that intensity right back.
The food at Oracle Park is next level. The Crazy Crab'z garlic fries are the signature item - piled with minced garlic and served in a souvenir helmet. You'll smell like garlic for two days and you won't care. The Ghirardelli sundaes are the dessert play, and the craft beer selection features Anchor Steam, 21st Amendment, and other local favorites.
Before the game, grab a bite in the South Beach or Mission Bay neighborhood right around the park. After the game, the bars along King Street and Embarcadero are your postgame spots. Or just walk along the waterfront and take in the view - this is one of the most scenic parts of San Francisco. Oracle Park isn't just a stadium. It's a Bay Area landmark. Get yourself some garlic fries and enjoy the show.
