Wrigley Field is a time machine. You walk through those gates on Clark and Addison and you're transported to a version of baseball that doesn't exist anywhere else. The ivy on the outfield walls, the hand-turned scoreboard, the rooftop seats across the street - it's all still there, and it's all still perfect.
Cubs fans waited 108 years for a World Series title, and when it finally happened in 2016, the entire city of Chicago collectively lost its mind. The curse was broken, and Wrigleyville threw a party that might still be going on. If you weren't there, you missed one of the greatest moments in sports history. Period.
Game day in Wrigleyville is an all-day affair. Murphy's Bleachers is the pregame spot - it's been the unofficial Cubs bar since forever. Grab a beer, talk trash with whoever's sitting next to you, and then walk across the street to the ballpark. Inside, get yourself a Chicago-style hot dog (no ketchup, the locals will judge you) and find your seat.
After the game, win or lose, the bars on Clark Street are packed. Sluggers, Cubby Bear, The Gingerman - take your pick. The whole neighborhood turns into a celebration. That's the thing about Wrigley. The game is almost secondary to the experience. Almost. Browse Cubs tickets on Evil Tickets and get in on one of the best game-day atmospheres in all of sports.
