Miami Improv is the local link in the national Improv chain, and it earns its keep as South Florida's most dependable room for established stand-up. The lineup runs the spectrum - sharp club acts climbing the circuit all the way up to major television names - so the marquee changes but the quality holds.

The room seats around 300 in the classic comedy-club layout: table seating, central stage, two-drink minimum on most shows. Weekend runs go Thursday through Sunday with multiple sets on the busy nights, so there's almost always a show that fits your plans. One logistics note: it's out in Doral in western Miami-Dade, so you're driving (parking's available on-site), and it is not a walk from South Beach or downtown - factor in the drive time, especially if you're coming from the coast.
