Chase Field

Chase Field has the retractable roof that makes baseball in Phoenix during the summer survivable, and it has the pool - the only swimming pool in fair territory in Major League Baseball. A group of people will rent the pool area and watch the game from the water on hot nights, which is a perfectly reasonable way to watch baseball and also very Phoenix. The ballpark is functional and comfortable, and the Diamondbacks organization runs a good in-stadium experience.

Downtown Phoenix has improved a lot around the ballpark and there are good pregame options within walking distance. Jackson Street and the surrounding blocks have bar and restaurant options that handle the game night crowd well. The light rail stops at 3rd St/Jefferson, a short walk from the stadium, and it runs frequently enough that it's genuinely easier than driving and parking. Covered parking is available adjacent to the stadium if you need it.
