Amalie Arena
The Lightning's home rink in downtown Tampa is one of the better arenas in the Southeast for hockey and concerts - 21,000 seats and a tight sightline from pretty much everywhere in the building.

Amalie Arena is the Lightning's home and the Lightning are a legitimate dynasty - they've built the kind of winning culture that makes playoff runs here feel like events. The arena is well-maintained and the sight lines throughout the building are consistently good; the design keeps the upper sections from feeling disconnected from the ice. On a playoff night with the full house going, Amalie is one of the louder arenas in the NHL.
Downtown Tampa has come a long way over the past decade and the blocks around the arena on the waterfront have solid options for pregame and postgame. Channelside Drive along the water has a cluster of bars and restaurants that fill up on event nights. HART bus service and the free Tampa Streetcar connect Ybor City and Channel District to the arena if you're coming from elsewhere in the city. For concerts, Amalie books consistently and the room configuration works well for both GA floor shows and seated setups.
