Amway Center opened in 2010 and it's been Central Florida's primary indoor venue for both sports and major concerts since. The 20,000-seat capacity puts it in solid territory for mid-to-large touring acts that make the Florida run, and the building is well-maintained with good acoustics for an NBA arena. Magic games have gotten more interesting as the young roster develops, and the downtown Orlando location makes it easy to build a whole evening around a visit.
The Church Street District and downtown Orlando restaurant scene are right there, so pregame options are plenty. The SunRail commuter train stops at Church Street station a few blocks away, but most people drive in from the broader Orlando area. Parking in the city-owned garages around the arena is reasonably priced by arena standards. If you're staying on International Drive or near Disney, factor in 30-40 minutes of drive time depending on traffic.
