House of Blues Boston sits at about 2,400 capacity, which puts it in the sweet spot for touring acts that have outgrown small clubs but aren't ready (or willing) to play arenas. The main floor is general admission standing, and the balcony offers a good elevated view of the stage. Sound here is consistently solid - one of the better-sounding rooms in the city for amplified shows.
The venue books a genuinely wide range - rock, hip-hop, electronic, country, and everything in between runs through here. The Fenway location means you're in a neighborhood with bars and restaurants in every direction, so a pregame dinner on Boylston or Lansdowne is easy to arrange. Show nights here are usually 21+, so check before you buy if you're bringing younger fans.
