Laugh Boston is one of the city's best-known stand-up clubs, set in the Seaport District in a purpose-built room attached to the Westin Boston Seaport District hotel. About 300 people fit in a traditional comedy-club layout, table seating fanned around a central stage, so the whole room stays dialed into the same set.
The booking is reliable: national touring headliners on weekends, local and regional talent filling out the weeknights. The room is clean, well-run, and the sightlines hold up from most tables, which is more than you can say for a lot of converted comedy spaces. The drink program is solid, so settle in.
Best part of the location? The Seaport is loaded with restaurants and bars within an easy walk, so dinner before and a nightcap after are both on the table, and the attached hotel means you can make a whole night of it without ever driving home. Want a sure thing? Book a weekend headliner and grab a table closer to the stage. The closer you sit, the more it feels like the comic is talking straight to you, which is exactly the point.
