Moda Center
The Trail Blazers' home arena on the east side of the Willamette is the biggest venue in Portland at 19,000 seats, and it pulls in major concert tours alongside the NBA season.
Upcoming Events
Moda Center is Portland's primary large venue and the Rose Quarter complex it sits in handles both the NBA season and a full concert calendar. The 19,000-seat arena has decent sight lines from most sections, and the lower bowl fills up properly on big Blazers nights. Portland is one of the smaller NBA markets and that creates a unique dynamic - the fanbase is committed and the arena atmosphere is good, but tickets are more accessible than in larger markets.
The Rose Quarter MAX stop on the Red and Blue lines drops you at the front door, which is the right way to get here from downtown Portland or the airport. There's parking in the surrounding structures if you need it, but the train is genuinely faster than dealing with the bridge traffic on a sold-out night. The immediate neighborhood around the arena has a few options for food and drinks but isn't a full entertainment district - most pregame eating happens in the Pearl District or downtown before heading east.
