This is LA's house. The Lakers, the Clippers, the Kings, the Sparks - they all call Crypto.com Arena home, and the vibe inside depends entirely on which event you're catching. Lakers game? You're doing celebrity watch the entire time (yes, you will spot someone famous, probably before the first timeout). Clippers game? The real basketball fans are here and they're loud about it. Kings game? Hockey energy in Southern California hits different and the crowd gets surprisingly intense.
The arena sits right in the heart of downtown LA on Figueroa, and the neighborhood has exploded with options in the last few years. LA Live is right there with restaurants and bars for days - hit up Yard House before the show for a ridiculous beer selection, or grab Korean BBQ at nearby Quarters KBBQ if you want to do pregame properly. There's also a Shake Shack right in LA Live if you're keeping it simple and just need good food fast.
Concert nights at Crypto are a whole different animal. This place has hosted everyone from Beyonce to Bad Bunny to BTS, and the production in this building is premium. The sound system is massive, the sightlines are solid from almost every section, and the upper bowl is closer than you'd think for an arena this size. If you can swing floor seats, do it - the intimacy of being that close in a room this big is something special you don't get often.
Pro tip: take the Metro Expo Line to the Pico station. Parking downtown is an absolute nightmare and you'll spend half your night in a garage. The train drops you two blocks away and saves your sanity. Browse upcoming events on Evil Tickets and experience LA's biggest stage.
