Wells Fargo Center

Wells Fargo Center is the arena half of the South Philly sports complex, and the vibe on a big game night in that neighborhood is unlike anything in American sports. The Eagles play next door at Lincoln Financial Field, the Phillies are down the street at Citizens Bank Park - and on a night when two of those teams are playing simultaneously, the parking lots become one continuous tailgate scene that stretches across the whole complex. It's a lot. In a good way.

The arena holds about 20,000 and the Sixers and Flyers both have passionate fanbases that make the lower bowl legitimately loud. The Broad Street Line (the orange line on SEPTA) stops directly at AT&T Station outside the complex - this is the move for getting there from Center City. Skip the parking unless you enjoy sitting in exit traffic for an hour. There are a few bars in the immediate area but the real pregame scene is in Center City, which is 20 minutes away on the subway.
